I have realised that not many people know the difference between Ombre, Dip dye and Balayage. Here is some information about them so you can make the right decision for your hair.

Ombre

Ombre hair refers to the gradual lightening of the hair strands. Ombre usually fades from a darker colour near the roots to a lighter  colour on the ends. I find Ombre can be very striking!

Dip Dye

Dip Dye is the process of making it seem like your hair tips have been dipped into dye.  Dip Dye is usually done with brighter colours and less natural colours. 

Balayage

Balayage is when a colourist 'paints' vertically with the tip of the brush and only to the front of the hair. This creates natural sun kissed highlights.

Guys with longer hair?

Long-haired men stand out in any crowd. Some guys find short hair needs trimming and therefore frequent visits to the hair salon. However, long-haired men are likely to stand out and have their own style. Long-haired men will be noticed. There is no doubt about it.

We asked our twitter fans what they thought and Kerry (@Missy_Vintage) thinks that guys should have long hair! She wrote on our twitter  'There are some good and some bad out there but generally, I love it!'

HAIR

 Hair this season is 60s inspired Bridget Bardo undone Beehives, cropped pixie cuts, mid length bobs with cracked broken fringes, strong side partings to super sleek straight hair and a strong 90s inspired tousled hair and big messy plaits. Hair colour is Mocha/Coffee rich brown tones; warm blondes and nature ombre which is dip dyed ends with highlighted panels. All these looks have been shown on all the catwalks for this season must have hair.

FASHION

From Catwalk looks to High Street – 60s monochrome from Louie Viton, black and white stripes and checks which are found in Top shop and H&M. Also Pradas Gaysha oriental florals and thong style shoes which are a must have for 2013.

MAKE UP

Natural nude looks to statement make up with flawless skin, bold lips in MATT. Red/tangerine colours to Smokey eyes with a swapping edge and HD bold brows.

ACCESSORIES

Oversized jewellery to 90s ear cuffs to Chanel inspired pastel bags.
